No kidding.  Catalyst's fulfillment company stinks.  Every single thing I've received from them has arrived before they could get around to send a shipping notification.

Say what you will about this fulfillment company, but they're several orders of magnitude better than Battleshop.

CGL has certainly had issues with order fulfillment at times (remembers the HexPacks that were delivered ~5 years late), but they are much better than they were. My Shadowrun Spawl Ops kickstarter stuff finally arrived this week too!

Good . . . lol, now I will have to check the next couple updates to see if the complainer will acknowledge that shipment.

This. After her review of the last credit card bill, my much-better half asked, "Have you lost your mind?" To which I replied, "Eighteen years on, and you're just now asking that question?"  :D

Yes when we moved in together she saw my novel and sourcebooks...

Now I buy PDFs :D I've also gotten used to them especially the novels with apps on phone I can read the books anywhere anytime with a cup of tea in the other hand
My three main Alternate Timeline with Thanks fan-fiction threads are in the links below. I'm always open to suggestions or additions to be incorporated so if you feel you wish to add something feel free. There's non-canon units, equipment, people, events, erm... I've been snapping up the new Print-on-Demand novels and novellas as they've become available.  In the back of each one is a list of all the fiction.  This list includes Isle of the Blessed by Steven Mohan. It appears after A Bonfire of Worlds (also by Steven Mohan) and before Embers of War, which are both available PoD.

Has anyone seen or know any thing about a Isle of the Blessed being offered PoD?

Isle of the Blessed was set on New Avalon during the Jihad, and was published as a serial on the now defunct BattleCorps site. Nice to see it in DTF. Was a good series.

not in dtf as of yet, but acknowledged as a BT novel in the publication lists at the back of new fiction

(meanwhile Ideal War has been absent from said list since they started adding the list)

That, and Star Lord, need not apply.

Weird, Ideal War at least appears to be available as an ebook right now, though Star Lord isn't.

Yeah it made the transition to the Legends ebook line (and you can still get it on kindle)

I wonder if there was some kind of sticking point with the rights for a new printed version. The Sword and the Dagger is also missing from that list but the reasons are well-known.

Hey, I enjoyed Star Lord for what it is. Which is a MW RPG session pushing Old Man Henderson levels of power gaming and weirdness.

And yes, I view almost all the fiction that is considered bad around here in the same manner.

(No, seriously, my most worn out novels are Star Lord, Main Event, and DRT, followed by Wolf Pack and anything GDL or Northwind Highlanders.)

I buy such a low-volume of digital goods, my wife doesn't care what I buy. I do have to discuss any purchases of $60 or higher because that eats my fun moneys.

Friday cannot come soon enough.

I mean the author pretty much spelled out the issues with the contract she had picked up from Weissman and Hicks. How exactly that bounces around in copyright law is tangled and messy, but we know enough

The Sword and the Dagger didn't even get reprinted in the 90s when RoC reissued all the other FASA novels

Battlemaster . . you know, you can get a TSM & Supercharger Battlemaster w/some Med VSPLs using the -1G gun port requirement . . . getting really curious about what got done to the old Beemer.

Yes. Though the Germans got a reprint. Regardless, it’s missing from the acknowledged novel list. Bonfire gets two entries (presumably because the lag between the digital and print releases?)

Well . . . unless I missed it (just checked) you have not released any more screen shots of Rec Guides MM testing.  So all we had was Scotty's purple'd Battlemaster.
