The Taneli Mini Tractor, Tracked (TMTT), also called the "Timothy" or just "Timmy" for short, is a light truck designed  as a cheaper tractor to supplement the Mechani Standard Tractor, Tracked (MSTT, or "Misty"), and is designed mainly to tow the ubiquitous Mechani Standard Trailers (with permission from the Mercurio Corporation).

The TMTT is four times lighter and twelve times cheaper than the Block IV MSTT, although its light weight necessarily precludes any armor rated for anything heavier than small arms fire and thus is ill-suited to duties near the front line.  Despite that, the TMTT mounts the "Century Universal" Engine, a 100 rated XLE noted for affordability and reliability that is commonly used and shared across many Vela Corridor military vehicles and a few Inner Sphere ones.

The TMTT is marketed both to poorer periphery states that cannot afford the full-sized MSTTs and to richer states who are looking to cheaply expand the capabilities of their tractor-trailer fleets.  While not as fast as the more powerful MSTTs when loaded, the TMTT is known to be capable of carrying the common 20T and 28T trailers at a reasonable speed, and the 40T and 60T trailers at slow speeds.  The tractor is not rated to tow the large 100T trailers, but those are one of the less common varieties used by most states.

By default, trailers do not come with the necessary control systems or auxiliary power systems to operate their equipment when not attached to a powered tractor unit.  While the most common cargo or ammunition carriage trailers are not hampered by this, other configurations, such as artillery pieces, mobile field bases, field kitchens, and communication units all require auxiliary power to function.  This can be solved in two ways: one can purchase trailer units with the Independent Operations Modification (IOMs), or one can connect a smaller and cheaper tractor unit after a MSTT moves the trailer into position.  The latter solution is becoming increasingly common due to the inexpensiveness of the TMTT, and because it doesn't require taking payload out of the afflicted trailer like IOM does and so adding a single light "mobile generator" to the vehicle fleet can be significantly logistically simpler than adding several series of IOM trailers vs non-IOM variants.

Variants
3062 Economy: An even cheaper version explicitly marketed towards the Periphery market, the Economy model substitutes the 1.5 tons of ferro-fibrous armor and Century Universal engine for a 75 SFE and 1 ton of standard armor.  While it's more vulnerable and notably slower than the default model when loaded with common trailer units, the Economy model costs a hair under 50,000 C-Bills and is mechanically simple enough that most periphery powers do not have any issues maintaining them.
ICE: Not an official variant, particularly poor worlds that get their hands on a 3062 Economy TMTT sometimes strip out the 75 SFE for a 60 ICE when they are incapable of maintaining even the simplest fusion engines.  Its tractor performance has been described as "anemic".
