That's the closest to an official citation I've been able to find so far.

Exo-humanism is a bit advanced for Battltech.  That's more of a Millennium-concept; the people in Battletech are from the '80's; the have a natural-aptitude for glam-rock and heavy-metal, the get an extra-die to resist drugs and alcohol and they can smoke, a lot.

Danai Liao-Centrella (let’s not forget that she’s Canopian-raised and her Centrella half is just as important to who she is as a character)

I fear the addition will make finding her more difficult for some. I know it can go both ways, so it is a judgement call. I should have just placed her first to avoid that issue.

One of the reasons I started this thread is because I just read Blood Will Tell last week and it left me thinking about the fact that Daoshen has an honest to goodness god complex and yet somehow everything seemed to run remarkably smoothly anyway.

I took from it that Daoshen wants Danai to be competent enough for Successor State governance, but she simply is not there yet so he is now pushing it. She needs to become Capellan. By contrast Nikol had been involved in top level governance since the reunification of the League (Minister-General is a top-level position, if not a military one), Yori had been doing so behind the scenes. Julian and Trillian have been thrust into such positions, and only time will tell how they will govern.

That would break the symmetry the Koloss has going though.

ok decided to introduce my neighbors kids to disasterous life of saki after they finally finished watching mysterious cities of gold....no not the recent remake
had to do something after they learned the opening theme song to mysterious cities of gold
only so many times you can listen to before cringing to death
btw they ruined jayce and wheeled warriors opening for me too
