The GTA is a big place with very little internet presence. I think we're all used to driving an hour in any direction (sadly) unless we live in Toronto itself, so why don't we consolidate games/events in one thread?

I'm primarily interested in Battletech, MechWarrior RPG (mayyybe), and Alpha Strike (once I get more minis finished).

To start us off - tabletop day is coming and I want a place to show off my painted 'Mechs. [run away]

Have you been to any of the local events?
There are quite a few Demo Agents in the GTA

Oh, for sure. But I'd probably love getting out to more than one game a month, if I can!
Plus, demo games are pre-set; you can't bring your own 'Mechs and record sheets and expect to play 'em.

You can - sometimes they will set a BV value, and let people bring there own.
Do you have a regular venue?

There are places that I could play regularly, but no, no regular group. There are also some people I was playing regularly with in the past, but I'm still trying to get back in touch with them. I figured that I might as well reach out to try to coordinate with the others that I normally see at the events...maybe even gather some newcomers.

I'm in the South GTA.  Have being getting back into tabletop gaming after several years of Expat life overseas caused me to drop out, but taken up with a new Wargaming group around the Hammer.  There's an event on May 6 out this way that is will have some 'Mech action even if the overall slant is towards more contemporary/historical wargames, was planning to be there and gauge local interest.

I'll be running a couple Battletech games at Broadsword III in Hamilton on May 6. I also run games a Black Knight Hobbies in Hamilton about once a month.

You can also look up Southern Ontario Battletech Society on Facebook. We have about 50 members who are in Southern Ontario.

Yup, I play now at the games club that's running Broadsword.  Will be there this Saturday.

I'm located between Hamilton & Toronto. Looking to get some more local or online (through MegaMek) battletech games going. Possibly something persistent using campaign rules. Please let me know if anyone is within driving distance and interested. I'm sure we could work out locations and what not.

For those in Toronto, I will be running games more frequently.  Next game is later this month.
Detail for all games can be found on:

Southern Ontario Battletech Society facebook page.

Currently there are Battletech games scheduled 4 out of the next 6 weeks being run in Southern Ontario with more to be posted soon.
