Engineered humans that could live on a non-terraformed Venus?  Not even the Terminator could live on Venus (maybe for a few hours).

This was a in universe rumor/conspiracy theory, thus the giant Hyperspace squid that eats jumpships.

What would be hilarious, if we found out Myndo Waterly collected these type of stories. It would in part explain why she was so fast to except Fotch's fringe 'the invaders could be aliens that had eaten the SLDF in exile."

I mean for him to be wrong you would have to except that CGL for the second time on the same Kickstarter has authrized the wrong shipping numbers to be posted.   In what situation would any company do that?  You don't as a buisness post wrong shipping charges to your customers
i've seen some idiots on another forum (largely warhammer centric) talking in their thread for the battletech KS that they're convinced that it's all just some plot by CGl to bilk them out of money... i just think some gamers are so used to really big gaming companies ripping them off on prices and jerking them around with deceptive practices that they've decided that all game companies work that way.

More likely, a group was, and another was from India, etc.  People in Medieval-times tended to lump groups together; if you were an outsider, no matter where you were from, you're a Gypsy.

Actually, the people made a fairly homogeneous cultural group as they spread around Europe, keeping similar customs even among the ones who migrated all the way to Ireland and Wales as well as keeping their own language.

Fan Articles / Re: Mech of the Week: Deimos

The mech was designed in-universe before the Snow Ravens migrated to the Inner Sphere, so definitely not built by someone from the OA.

One thing that's honestly rather weird is the name.  Given Clan naming conventions, I'm surprised that "Deimos" hadn't already been used by some sort of Clan vehicle.

From what I can tell from my own shipping and others' posts here is that we in Canada are just getting beat up on this, for the simple privilege of living in Canada, I guess.

I gave percentages before but I should also give an example for lower level pledges like me. My first pledge was recruit level with salvages and swag add-ons. No maps or anything else. The Shipping plus GST got from 56$ for an order of 156$ Us to 63.23$ US now

The second is somewhat worse. Paper pusher with the Art of War DTF book add-on and 2 patches. 50$ US. Shipping and+ GST is 32.83$US

Yup. Love Canada for Commerce.  :headbang: :headbang: :mafiosi:

Alright, I think I've got it.  I had to search for the word 'Primitive' on Sarna, then chase down individual mechs and the companies manufacturing them.

Mind you, there are a couple with no links, articles with no links (or broken ones) and articles that contain information that they have a factory producing Primitive units (and names them) but no company name.

Now, all I have to do is make the list, and fill out a second list of domestic Primitives for my project.

I'll post a list of mechs/companies/locations for the next guy, later.

Might also be a chance to get creative.  He’s not a member of any unit with a paint scheme, he can do whatever he wants, right?  I’m guessing the Combine dragon is the only insignia he’d carry, but other than that it’s tabula rasa.
