Demo agents were allowed to schedule their own events at Gencon Online but we did not coordinate this as a large team. So, there are a few events being run but not many (most I believe are Shadowrun).
The reasoning behind this is as follows:
-The Gencon Online structure just didn't lend itself to big team coordination like we normally do at an in-person convention.
-Not all agents are comfortable with running events virtually (it is not something we have done much as a team before this).
-Some CGL games lend themselves to being run virtually better than others (RPGs go virtual better, Minis games less so).
Certainly not ideal but as with most things during this covid time, we are doing the best we can.
