I would love to play classic battletech (or alpha strike) with some locals. I'd be down to play at event horizon or game theory! I've even heard that there is a group of btech players who meet up sometimes but I haven't been able to track you guys down. Where are you!

Looking at having a game this Saturday at Gamers Armory in Cary..
-
I might be available this coming weekend. About what time?
-
6pm. I’ll call them today to make sure they have an open table.
-
Drat. I already have a commitment starting at 5 pm.
Have fun!
-
The major purpose of this meeting is just to get everybody together so we can organize more games. If you want to PM me your contact information, I'll pass it along to whoever is going to set up the next.

This Saturday, the 18th, at 6pm at Gamer's Armory in Cary, NC.

I will bring everything for this time. While there we can discuss what everybody would like to see at future events.

Some friends and I are starting up Battletech as well. Good to hear that the Raleigh area has an existing community. And to boot, Gamer's Armory is our home store! We already play 40K there.
I will certainly try to swing by to watch and ask questions.
How large is the existing community? Do you have a Facebook (or other) group that players may join to arrange games? Feel free to PM me if you wish to keep this private.
-
There is no one existing group. That’s why I set up this game, to connecti people that had been asking. There have been various groups in the past that had 5-6 show up at events, but it’s been awhile.

-
When do you think y'all might play again?
-
There's a regular 1x/month campaign in Cameron. 40 minutes South of Raleigh.
-
That's a bit to far away but thanks for the info!
-
Also we are running a beginners league starting up after the box sets drop! If you come here from google and use Facebook we have a group *triangle battletech* where we co-ordinate games! If not I'll be checking in on this forum to see if anyone is interested!
-
Are you still planning/running games? I don't use Facebook and I can't find the group you mentioned via search engine.
-
Xiwo yes we are gaming. Are you on discord?
-
Not at the moment. I could be, I suppose. (In this age of social media, I guess I'm antisocial...)
-
Ok what gaming stores are you close to? When/ where do you want to catch a game?
-
I'm closest to Gamer's Armory. (On the weekend, I can get just about anywhere in RTP.) I tend to work late on weekdays (and sometimes weekends) so I'm not going to be available usually, nor do I think scheduling should be tailored around me.
I'm mostly curious when games and such are scheduled in the off chance the stars align and I'm actually available.
-
Ah. Just about every Tuesday there are people playing at gamers armory. If you drop in on a Tuesday night you'll most likely see somebody with battletech out and you might even be able to pick up a game but most are pre-arranged on facebook. I'm personally always down to schedule a weekend game. Game theory is closest to my house.

Excellent. Thanks!
