Proxy or kitbashing ideas for the Vali

The Vali for Liberation of Terra: Vol 2 has always intrigued me. I have a chance to add some for a campaign I'm running. Does anything have any ideas for proxies or base models that I could use to kitbash them?

Look up the Ashigaru, from Reaper's CAV line.

That's a really close fit! Thank you! Would you suggest using green stuff to make the front more square like the art?

I didn't bother doing so with mine. They were almost certainly built in multiple factories worlds apart, so cosmetic changes are completely plausible. (Also, I've never used Green Stuff in my life.) Feel free to do so with yours if you want, or even hack off the front end and glue a different one there. The Reaper stuff is extremely easy to cut up and mod.
