Would like to request the Tarantula, Scorpion, Barghest, and Goliath. Think all of them haven't been done in a while, and well... I like quads...

Uh...request, I guess. Although if no one does it anytime soon I may do it myself if the mood strikes.

I'm a little concerned about the sheer length of it, though granted 14 configs and 4 notable pilots may contribute to that just a little bit.

Did you read my Avatar article?  O:-)

It occurs to me that we might have slightly differing styles, you know. :P

I finished it, but it came out to eight full pages and almost 5,000 words in GDocs. O:-)

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

Okay, that's ~1800 words more than even the Avatar article and I was worried that one would be way too long ;)

And yeah, I figured you would use a different style. Let's face it, you have to be "slightly" crazy to write MotW articles in my style :D

A heads-up. Pa Weasly is doing the Huntsman/Nobori-nin himself, something I'm happy to hear, as his fondness of the design was the initial impetus to claim it.

I've got the Hornet article ready (mostly) for 8/3, but would be happy to forfeit that place in order to shuffle up the schedule for all those rearing to go, or for Pa Weasly to slip in as convenient.

See - Still trying to get this sorted out. I have my write-up of the Pariah & Septicemia done, but I haven't heard anything from jymset on his original article and I don't have a copy of it.

So, my HD was finally ruled dead and unsalvageable last week. That is brutal, meaning all my own stuff, fan articles, everything is gone forever. On an upside, I had - almost by accident - backed up most my active CGL work a week before the crash. Not so my older stuff, including my long-wip Blackjack article, booh.

Anyways, I did snoop around a bit and found the "Pariah" on a mirror of my long-defunct little BT page. Which completely solves the problem of that article. Feel free to copy-paste, or simply link to that page! O0

Thanks, I'll work that into my article, in which case, add me to the calender, as the rest of the article is ready.

You should see some of the papers my history-teaching wife had to grade. I could easily pick out the ones that were cut & pasted from somewhere online b/c the spelling, grammar, and overall writing improved so drastically.

Throwing in a request for the Mad Cat Mk III; there's the standard version, there's the (very cool) XTRO prototype, there's the (almost as cool) Eve variant, and there's the Mk III 2 for variants so it wouldn't need to be ignored for being too short.

While I would be happy to get the take of the community on it, the fact that the RS for the Mad Cat III 2 has not been released makes it difficult. Also, we don't know which numbers the Dark Age variants will have, once CGL releases them (I'm always calling them Mad Cat III 3 & 4 now, but that could change).

Btw: There is no mk in the Mad Cat III, it's a plain Mad Cat III

So, I learned recently that I'll actually be around the internet until early January, so I can handle another article if there are any that need writing.

You know, it just occurred to me that both of the emergency backup articles are written by the same person.  What happens if he's the one to go missing for a few days? ???

I'm sure we could survive a week off in such an unlikely occurrence. If not, I can throw together one about the Hogarth OmniMech.
