How does artillery cannon scattering work on a hex map?
In particular, how do odd Margins of Failures translate into number of hexes scattered?
If an artillery attack misses, it normally scatters with its Margin Of Failure (MoF) in inches, multiplied by 2 if it was not from a Artillery Cannon.
An MoF of 1 would mean a 1" scatter for a cannon, which would translate to half a hex.
Will such a shot still hit its target hex, or would it round up to a whole hex and land in an adjacent hex?
Thank you in advance for the help.
