First warship!
My thought here was that someone took note of the
Concordat and went, "Yeah... let's try it."
Then shopped it around as an interstellar coastal patrol boat.Damocles Pocket Destroyer

In many ways, the Damocles is a throwback to the early days of the Terran Hegemony. It is under-armoured for the modern day. It is not that fast. It is lacking a lithium-fusion battery. Further, it has smallish fuel bunkers and miserly amounts of cargo space for extended operations. What it is is affordable force-projection, system defence, counter-raiding and fleet-in-being for whatever system, or cluster of systems within jump range it calls home.
Where it differs from other Hegemony-era destroyers like the Carson or Davion is applying lessons learned from the Reunification War. The anti-fighter secondaries are lavish and well-stocked on all arcs. It stations its own fighter screen, and has a complement of two platoons of marines and small craft to enact boarding and counter-boarding. The majority of the capital weapons are energy-based, with the twelve Heavy Naval PPCs oriented towards the front arc. 6 drop collars allow it to bring a planetary invasion force, fighter carriers, assault dropships or Mule dropships to supplement its cargo. Its large grav-wheels make extended duty reasonably comfortable. There are enough lifeboats and escape pods for the whole crew. Finally, everything is built with solid, inexpensive and reliable parts.
"Affordable" is relative, however. Critics of the Damocles note that its inspiration, the Concordat, could be built for approximately 4/5ths the cost, and its obsolete predecessor, the Wagon Wheel, also had large grav decks. They also point out the token AR10s and the fact that their number and ammo load is suspiciously light if intended to complement the anti-fighter weaponry... but just enough if intended to load nuclear ordnance.
