Archer was nice with the open or closed option.   Night Gyr was a simple assembly, while the Rifleman has the 3C arms.  Definitely getting a magnetized version.

Thanks for posting these pics up OP.

I've pretty much switched from all metal to all plastic for mechs.

Your pics have shown that there is usually very little if any loss in detail.
That's something I was concerned about.
Meanwhile the plastics are far lighter to carry, more durable, and honestly a little
more economic.
My Feldherr bag full of plastics is so light I have to double check to make sure
it's slung over my shoulder while I'm carrying boxes of terrain.
My old Plano Regimental Command Box of lead and pewter Parthas is FAR to heavy
to carry safely and requires a trip by itself. It's to heavy to be practical.

Now that I have extra 3C arms, I can add them to my magnetized plastic one 😁

Level of detail is actually an interesting comparison. It looks like there are several cases where the plastic castings actually have slightly more panel detail, but the metal castings are often crisper with sharper edges.

Plastic is also significantly cheaper if you want everything in your force pack which is a pretty significant factor.
