Nah, it's all good. O0

The only reason I had it reserved in the first place was I already wrote one a while back that never got put on the site, and needed updating for a couple variants that had come out in the interim.  I just never got around to doing it.

So it is... I forgot it completely, on the account of detesting the 'Mech's looks and consequently not paying any attention to it.

Not your fault. The 'Mech's fault. I will take a peek at article soonish. Nothing's gonna make me like the 'Mech though.

If any people who have reservations read this, would you mind confirming you're doing stuff? Not asking when you get anything done, just wondering if you're still interested in your reservations.

...if you're interested in people confirming long-term...as in loooooooong term reservations, please let me reiterate my interest in doing the following *whenever*:

Hornet
Blackjack
Trebuchet

Thanks!

Also, anyone in touch with Greekfire? He's been absent for months now...

GreekFire seems to have been absent since April, at least was last i checked. I recall him noting he had a lot to do due to a new job. Probably... Hopefully nothing worse.
EDIT Yeah, last active April 12.

Added your reservations to the List.

Is there room for a guest author? I can assemble one and have it up for Friday evening at the latest, more likely mid-day. I don't see the Mad Dog/Vulture IV having been covered.

Anyone have anything for tomorrow?

I might get the Koshi (standard) out tomorrow if no one else has anything not-so-rushed done.

EDIT Actually, i have more than enough time to write the article for tomorrow.

So, anyone want to write something for the next week?

In the event you all run into that problem again- short notice and no article to run- let me know and I can hurl my standard half-assed efforts together. Sounds like all is well for tomorrow, but in the future just let me know.

EDIT: Tell you what, now that I look at Chanman's archive post, I see a favorite one that hasn't been done. Next time there's a hole in the schedule, let me know and I'll cover the Hercules. (Yes, I like the Herky, shut up, no YOU suck!)

I'll post the Koshi in a moment. Somewhat early but whatever. Hopefully i didn't forget anything. Gonna be a bit bare-bones but can't think of what i could add. But it is a good enough excuse to talk about the 'Mech.

Fair enough. The Hercules article is set to go, but as I said before it's a 'filler' in case of an emergency- PM me (since I don't look in here as often as I should) and let me know if you need it, and I can have it up quickly.

That's not a 'muscling my way in', lest it come across that way. This is a safety valve, nothing more.

Appreciated, but after the way things went with Vehicle towards the end, I'm content to do the occasional appearance and nothing more at the moment. If the regular crew can't get something assembled, they can use me as a relief valve to get something assembled (which I've done here in case they need it sometime soon, though this one ran into surprising problems that weren't entirely able to be overcome the way I wanted).

You aren't rid of me, but I'm pretty happy to not make this a regular thing. All things considered, most of the *otW readers seem to be pretty content with that as well.

I think you're significantly overblowing that, because even with a minor error or two I have yet to read an article from you I have not enjoyed or found informative.

Maybe it'll fulfill his desire to simply be a second-stringer if he threatens to only post legless MotWs when lack of other submitters forces his hand... O:-)
