How Big Is: Pack Rat LRPV
« on: 14 August 2018, 00:30:06 »
I'm currently working on a Vehicular HQ/Support Company for Team Tan.  I have part of the HQ Platoon already finished, but I wanted to fill out with some sort of Security Vehicle.

I recognize that a lot of vehicles are not scaled well. Some are perfect for 1/285 - 1/200.  Others are more in line with the BattleForce (1/500) scale Mechs.

Can anyone tell me or show me how big the Pack Rat mini is before I settle in to ordering one? Want to know if I'll have to do a kitbash job.

Thanks.

to be fair, the BA figures of current IWM and MWDA are rather oversized.. and the old scale ones are a bit on the bulky side for 6mm as well.

out of curiosity is there a mini for the Swiftwind scout car?

The swift wind lines up with the teeny tiny APCs and the Gabriel hovers

So, dimensions in CM?

Does it line up more with the Striker Wheeled Tank, or more with the J. Edgar or MASH or J-27?  All three of the latter are undersized compared to vintage Ral Partha Kurita Infantry, whereas the Striker fits nicely.

Pack Rat: 2.6cm long x 1.45cm wide x 1.1cm tall.
The Jed is a couple of mm taller (without the hover base), but the same width and height.
Striker: 2.9cm long x 1.3cm wide x 1.4cm tall.

Thanks, guys.

I may pick up a set, anyways.  But, I'm thinking I'm going to have to bash a DA Zhan to get what I'm looking for.
