Huh, a zero announcement new thread.
New product announcements came yesterday so it would be a little weird for more today. Randall did announce there will be a new "salvage pack" available at Adepticon (and on the way to retailers at the same time) yesterday but we don't know what it will be.

I mean the thread itself got no announcement.  The last thread was just locked and this thread started without any statement about "here's the new thread."  Looked like the last thread was just locked by site admins/mods and the last three posts from it were split off into a new thread.

Is Shadow of the Dragon still on track for March?

It should be -- Phil is through about 75% of editing it, but between editing Shrapnel, being John's chief Minon, and his own WoR novel. he's stretched thin ATM.

As soon as it gets back to me, I'll be all over it.....

I certainly wouldn't turn down a Galahad, but it feels like an odd choice for a special Salvage Box.

C’mon Rattler!
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

It definitely would be an odd choice but we know they have the Galahad sculpted as we saw the prototype in some of the Early merc KS photos and then it was never announced as part of it, so it will presumably be coming eventually, maybe they just couldn't find another four mechs to match it with in a star and are releasing it as a salvage box?

When Randall said it's something we've never seen before I feel that could preclude the Galahad / Glass Spider as we've seen the concept sketch and 3D renders on Anthony's Patreon.

Personally I have my money on the Triskelion...  :smilie_happy_thumbup:

I used one of these to make mine.  (Wheeled Warriors Battle Base)  About the right scale for MWDA figs - way too huge for mapscale, though.  You can often find incomplete ones cheap on eBay.  I painted mine white and slapped a TerraSec logo on the side.

Pulverizer: Clan Wolverine makes a comeback in style!

Humor aside: is there a synopsis of what is covered in the Tuesday Media thing each week? I sometimes don’t have the attention span to watch/listen and have it going on in the background as ‘noise’ so that might help me find things I missed (like another salvage box)

Same here. I was really disappointed it wasn’t included in the Kickstarter.

The Tuesday streams cover everything Catalyst is working on so there isn't a full summary but here is the BattleTech news from them:

Week 1:

- 40th Anniversary Mug is coming
- Force Manual Davion comes out in March
- Cookbook has been named "The Art of Food"
- Most of the Kickstarter releases at retail by August
- Barring a shipping problem Kickstarter fulfillment will be in June.
- Quarter Master Logistics will be handling US Fulfillment

Week 2:
- Absolutely nothing, this episode was pretty much just talking about Leviathans.

Week 3:
- Mystery Salvage Box
- SLDF Command Lance is on the boat and should make a late March release as scheduled (barring issues at port)

Most of this weeks episode was about the Runefire announcement, plus a good chunk was Randall going on about BattleTech Universe again.
