The 3SL box was being talked about up in a general thread, made me think of what the Sea Sharks might do with the Hammerhead 2. The Tiburon got a iHeavy update so I figure the Hammerhead just might too.
First one adds half a ton of armor, and moves a point away from the arms. Shores up the rear a bit anyway. Then swaps to a iHLL in the side toro and adds case II. Not sure I like the CASE II in it tho, with the ammo never having it. I wanted no CASE II and no bump in armor for a TC but found they aren’t comparable with AES (atleast so says mordel). And it gets a heat sink.

Then I says to myself I should read the MotW article on this guy. A fair amount of mention it didn’t seem like an assault unit. Thought I’d try that. What else is new in technology land, ferro-lam. Not quite as sturdy but still better than bog standard. Perfect for assaulting.
Swap to ferro-lam frees up a solid chunk of weight, even at max armor. LPL became a ERPPC, medium laser stays ER to utilize the same processes as much as possible. Keeps the extra HS from the previous variants. Swaps the streaks for an ATM6 with a full ammo load. Too much ammo so it needed CASE II. Hotter (especially without streaks only fire on a hit) but more violent, and slightly faster without the hardened penalty.
