a smaller version of an earlier attempt (80t), Changed the AC20 and SPL for Gauss and MG's, any suggestions, comments or opinions all welcome. (Either good or bad of course).

The GR is far superior to the AC/20 as a "standard main gun". An AC/20 is a close assault weapon, nothing else.
But you appear to have made the standard mistake... FCEs require power amplifiers. So you need to remove half a ton of armor - but you have enough of that to get around!

I seem to have this conversation a lot :p
My definition of MBT is a tracked, primarily anti armour unit that can be deployed in a flexible variety of mission profiles. It should be a capable all rounder with a balance of speed, manueverability and firepower designed to be useful in any situation.
With that said - I like my MBT to fit in a light vehicle bay, move 5/8 and have a main weapon with more reach than an ML :p GR is great, I quite like LB10-X as that brings nasty motive attacks and AAA, MML racks are of course fantastic. Especially true as this thing will be pillboxed long before anything breaks the armour so range counts
Also, SPL, really? for anti infantry you can get 6 LMGs for the same weight with the SHS, or an MML 3 and 2 tons of ammo (inferno and LRM for example) it's just not weight efficient for it's purpose
It is cheap though and I do like that :)
