(Answered) Artillery Flechette Ammunition (page 355)
« on: 30 January 2014, 10:18:38 »
There seems to be an error in Artillery Flechette Ammunition.

Long Tom does 4d6 in the target hex.  So maximum possible is 24 damage to Infantry with a substantial chance to do less.  This is less then the 25 of the standard round.  Even using the Area Effect doubling for 48 still leaves it shy of the 50 that standard will do.  In the next hex out it goes to 2d6 versus 15.  No effect against the next hex out versus 5 damage.

Sniper does 2d6 versus 20 in the target hex and 1d6 versus 10 in the next hex out.

Thumper is 2d6 versus 15 and nothing versus 5 in the next hex out.

You are correct.  Errata will be issued shortly to fix this, but essentially it's going to read double the damage against infantry (on top of the AE bonus).
