Thor (Summoner):
A common variant among the Smoke Jaguars during Bulldog, the Thor J used an Ultra AC/10, two extended-range large lasers (backed up by a small), and a basic SRM rack.
Some Inner Sphere pilots also reported the Jaguars making sporadic use of a Thor variant (hereafter designated the Thor W) that lacked jump jets and extra heat sinks in favor of a devastating ballistic-heavy loadout. This was a non-standard conversion, and made it impossible to use pod mounts on the 'Mech without another lengthy refit back to OmniMech. Nonetheless, some Jaguar warriors (particularly on Port Arthur) thought the increased firepower would be worth the changes.
A relatively obscure variant also exists, mounting pulse lasers of every size alongside an LRM-10 rack, a light LB-X autocannon, two ER lasers and paired machine guns. The Thor N's bizarre loadout is almost solely seen during Trials, where managing its eclectic mix of guns and ranges is seen as a test of skill for new Falcon and Horse MechWarriors.

Avatar AV1-O:
A veritable plethora of Avatar variants were produced by StarCorps and GM starting in 3064. The first, Juliet, gives the OmniMech a one-two punch of a Gauss Rifle and an ER PPC, backed up by two LRM-5s, two machine guns, and an ER medium laser.
The next variant, Kilo, uses a laser-heavy configuration (three ER larges and three standard mediums, plus the two fixed ones) along with jump jets and a pair of SRM-4s. Heat is a serious factor, and alpha striking is to be avoided lest the missile ammo cook off prematurely.
Lima variant mounts a quartet of SRM-4s with Artemis IV fire-control, along with a pair of Rotary AC/2s. Davion troops tended to be the main users of this variant, but it is rarely seen without a "big punch" 'Mech nearby to create holes for the Avatar L to exploit.
Mike is simply a slight adaptation of the Alpha variant. It retains the AC/20 and the jump jets, but removes the 'Mech's only jousting weapon in favor of more medium lasers and a larger SRM barrage. Liao troops tend to prefer this variant, as it is better suited for the narrow streets and back alleys that Capellan city planners tend to favor.
November variant, favored by Kurita troops, mixes MRM-20 racks with large pulse lasers, creating a mid-range powerhouse. Oscar, meanwhile, is a master of none, with a mix of LRMs, SRMs, and an Ultra AC/10, backed up by another three extended-range lasers (two medium, one small). ECM allows the Oscar variant additional tactical options.
The Jihad brought about the Papa variant, with paired Snub-nose PPCs and Rotary ACs backed up by small SRM packs. Quebec variant is far newer, mounting two MML-7s with Artemis IV, a Light PPC, an ER medium, and one of the new micro pulse lasers. The main gun is a Bithinian Ballistics fifteen-class LB-X autocannon.
