(Answered) Alpha Strike Companion Conversion Rules

In the final determination of a unit's cost, a unit that has a 2-5" move gets a discount (-25%) if it only has Medium-range weapons (and shorter) - does it "deliver damage" at long range.

Technically, a 0* damage is the "ability to deliver damage" but isn't actually really delivering much damage. Does a unit with 4" of movement and only 0* damage outside medium see any difference? Or would it be best to just leave such weapons off?

0* is damage and therefore disqualifies the unit from getting the brawler discount.
