Twilight: 3050, a Twilight:2000 BattleTech Campaign
« on: 05 November 2024, 03:15:04 »

It’s January 1st, 3050, on Bensinger IV, a border world on the edge of the Federated Commonwealth. Once flanked by the now-defunct Oberon Confederation, Bensinger stands as a quiet outpost, though tensions still linger along the border. Pirates remain a constant threat, and the people trust the 12th Star Guards to keep them safe from raiders and smugglers. But beyond the horizon, something is shifting, and the quiet won’t last much longer.

You’ll be part of Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Regiment—a scout unit scraping by with outdated mechs and vehicles. For now, your missions will focus on handling piracy and reconnaissance, but darker days lie ahead, and your skills will be tested like never before.

"Twilight: 3050" is a sandbox BattleTech campaign using the Twilight: 2000 4th edition system coupled with a drop-in BattleTech rules module, developed in-house. It’s open-world, player-driven, and fully immersive. You’ll have the freedom to make your own decisions, shape your character’s path, and navigate the harsh realities of warfare as you fight for survival in a universe on the edge of chaos.

No prior experience with BattleTech or Twilight: 2000 is needed. New and veteran players are welcome—just bring a love for tactical combat and mechs, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Our missions will start with anti-piracy operations, but this is just the calm before the storm. If you’re ready to jump into the cockpit and defend the InnerSphere, send me a message.

Very interesting idea! I'm sorry I'm pinched out on fridays.

Not too thrilled with the T2k 4E rules to-date, but I love that it allows single-play.
Epitaph on an Army of Mercenaries

These, in the day when heaven was falling,      Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
The hour when earth's foundations fled,         They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
Followed their mercenary calling,               What God abandoned, these defended,
And took their wages, and are dead.             And saved the sum of things for pay.
