Title: Mech design programs for Quad-Vees
Post by: Drewbacca on 01 February 2018, 15:59:28
Are there any design programs that support Quad-Vees?

To the best of my knowledge, only MegaMekLab supports the full construction and printing of them.

Thanks for the info.

Ive been avoiding them just for the fact there isn't a good design program. Paper and pencil is too annoying.

Thanks everyone. Which version of MegamekLab do you use, because I can't seem to find them.

You'll have to grab the newest Development release.
Which is version 0.43.7-RC1.

MegaMek Lab has it's own separate download, has the same version number though. (MekHQ includes it as well.)

The newest version of MegaMekLab doesn't display Clan Endo-Composite as a chassis option for Mechs for me. Has anyone else here encountered the same problem?

Check your Tech Level and Year.

Check your Tech Level and Year.

The year is 3145 and the Tech Level is Experimental. Still doesn't show up. The version is megameklab-0.43.8-RC2-windows

I also opened an older with a mech with Endo-Composite internal structure. The weight was correct and the crits showed up in the Assign Criticals tab, but I couldn't select Endo-Composite in the Structure dropdown menu in the Structure/Armor tab.

I also made a screenshot: https://abload.de/img/screenshot1fau3m.png (https://abload.de/img/screenshot1fau3m.png)
