The states were all relatively stable beforehand, though there was plenty of intrigue between states. All states have bad actors within them, the Dragoons just allowed Maximilian to play a man with delusions of grandeur, and even he would have held back had the Dragoons not been available.

Was low, barely a needle move but only getting ForcePack adds on meant fairly regular box shaped volume.
I have a company with $70 of add ons and mine is $37 and change. (my add ons are just swag dice patchs exctra...)

« Last post by Gorgon on Today at 11:10:22 »At the tail end of the 3rd SW, nearly all systems of the Confederation are within two jumps of an enemy border. I can absolutely believe that the need to avoid open conflict within the Confederation is more intensely felt by all actors.
Besides, we have at least three acts of internal revolt I can think of: the revolt in 2451, which led to all ranks above Colonel being stricken from the CCAF for 600 years (implying strong political control of the CCAF, even compared to the DCMS)
And then there are Pavel Ridzik and Candace Liao absconding with large parts of the Confederation, made possible due to internal strife within the highest echelons of power (and losing the 4th SW and Justina Allard's dastardly good looks or what ever)

They've also been invaded consistently and the Liaos have always done a decent job of painting the CC as the victims of the rest of the IS.

« Last post by MarauderD on Today at 10:53:43 »I finally got the alpha strike starter and was looking at the Jade Falcon artwork on the cards. It threw me off to see the delta galaxy colors with the star league logo in place of the white falcon/blue planet. At least....i'm assuming the Golden Talons are meant to be delta galaxy or some kind of elite unit under Stephanie's command. I can't seem to find much info on the Golden Talons, but now i'm leaning towards painting more of my clan mechs in these colors.
I painted my Alpha Strike Box Set clan mechs in Golden Talon colors as well, didn't come out great, but pleased I finally have some Falcons to play with. Looking forward to adding the AML mech set that comes out in a couple years so I have some of the newer, more maneuverable Falcon mechs to complement it.

Updated shipping estimate: $167.37, including $12.13 state tax shipping. Represents 24% of the total pledge amount.
My company regularly ships large boxes as part of our work, exclusively using FedEx and UPS to ship to the lower 48 States. These prices are curiously....high. Dimensions/weight/distance is a pretty simple calculus. Regular ground shipping with tracking is reliable. It still looks like this is a second day air rate.
