CGL has done a fine job updating older record sheets and modernizing them with hypertext links and other more recent cosmetic changes.
Reading the proposed projects for 2011, I see that a new printing of 3058 is planned along with the record sheets.
I am perplexed though; in light of all these new record sheets and techreadouts, why are we still stuck with the old printed copy of the 3067 record sheets and TRO?
Is there some lost copyright authority? I just don't understand why there is such a glaring gap in the updating of the TROs and Record Sheets. Everything else is being or has been done - some of which have been of only marginal improvement - yet 3067, which does not have any electronic/digital implementation whatsoever, is ignored.
Can someone please explain why this is the case? It has been perplexing me for the past two years since the record sheet/tro modernizing campaign began. While I was fortunate to purchase a hardcopy of the 3067 record sheets, still it is easier to print them off the digital versions now offered by CGL for the other years and bringing them up to date with the more modern record sheet format would also be a boon. And dont say well use skunkworks or Heavy Metal Pro. The later is too out of date and the former, for whatever reason, I cant get to print on my Mac. Furthermore, the same could be said for 3058 or 3060 or 3039. Why were those record sheets updated and we still have no digital form of 3067 at all? It just does not make sense.
