Since they can only TAG a single target per turn, I'd treat them as a single TAG for BV reasons. No reason to make them pay extra for an ability they don't have.

Of course, feel free to post in the Rules forums to confirm.

They're capable of firing on different targets, so they're capable of TAGging different targets. I'd say treat them as different units for BV purposes.

The alternate means of BV shorthand for a unit that has a lot of TAG equipment is
the Rule that excess ammo BV beyond the the Value of the weapon itself is ignored
in this case take all the BV of the weapons firing TAG guided munitions and double
those as the end cost of the true BV value of the equipment as you can only fire that
ton of ammo once you can then increase the BV of that value by pilot and gunnery
factors .  Quick ; easy ; less cumbersome and lastly more accurately represents the
capability of the unit / company as a whole.

The one good thing about TAG-based munitions is that you don't need the units speed factor to calculate the new BV

I also fluff TAG for coordinating close air support to conventional forces.  Even without precision ordnance, its a lot faster, easier and likely safer to tell the pilot "drop ordnance in grid Y at location marked on TAG freq A".  CAS is usually on short order, in close proximity to friendly forces, and at low level so anything that can make it easier for the pilot to find the desired target is a good thing.
