I hate to say it, but I think flipping that bottom board end for end would look better...

Yeah, you might be right. I wanted the curls to capture as much light as possible and this seemed to be the best. It is all glued up so I'm stuck, but we will see. I haven't entirely decided which end will be the top.

But yeah, I might have been wrong on it.

We'll see how it looks when you get the other coats of oil on... it'll probably get better!  :)
