The B, D, E, and K are pretty redundant with each other or the Prime or A.

It’s a Clan Omnimech. Where’s the ATM configuration? Where’s the Heavy Laser build? Where’s the Plasma Cannon variant?

With the amount of free tonnage on this thing it’s going to be nasty almost no matter what you do. But you use all the weight-saving tech so you’re hurting for room. You do the “pulse lasers with heavy ballistic of the day” to death. ATMs. Heavy Lasers. Small ACs. Normal SRMs. Artillery. Targeting Computer. Streak LRMs. Supercharger. Urban Combat. Figure out how to make ‘em work on your chassis.

It’s a Clan Omnimech. Use more of the design space!

There’s a bit more variety! I have a couple of nits to pick with the prime and jumping configuration.

The prime is oversinked, you have 42 dissipation available but at long range you can only put out 31+ movement. You also have 32 rounds supplying one Gauss rifle. Dropping 2 tons of ammo and one medium pulse laser, you could add an ER Large and use up all your heat capacity at range. I’d also suggest putting all the medium pulse lasers all in the arms so you can torch any fast jumpers trying to hit your rear armor. Consider a light TAG, micro pulse laser, or flamer instead of the ER small.

The S is also way oversinked. (You only use your heat capacity if you’re double-tapping with the AC). Jumping configurations are often deployed in cities, and the ability to clear a height four building and an extra hex of positioning can be a big deal, even if it doesn’t net you an extra TMM. I’d drop the Gauss Rifle for more energy weaponry to use your heat (when out of AC range)and a targeting computer to even out the to-hit penalty for jumping. Some Streak SRMs also wouldn’t be remiss to crit-seek for your hole punchers.

Edit: looking over the configurations more closely, you really dislike building up heat, don’t you? If you have enough heat sinks to fire all your weapons, and some of your weapons are short ranged, then your design will be undergunned at long range.

The Prime fought on Tukayyid, and its massive ammo load was a huge advantage. It can keep that weakness for now.

The S I'm not sure of really, it's meant to be a close with two headshot knockout weapons, and add the U-AC 20 double tap once in close.

As far as the heat buildup issue goes, I have a reason.
The Wolves favor speed.

If a 'Mech ever gets to 5+ Heat, they lose at least one Walking MP. As this will slow said 'Mech down, I have decided that 4 Heat should, when possible, be the heat cap. Yes, the scale goes higher; for a bunch of people that love to pour on the speed however, slowing down isn't wise, nor does it match Wolves strategies and tactical doctrines.

The Wolves favor speed, and Heat once high enough interferes with it. Thus, no configuration of this 'Mech gets that hot, overall.

Updated five Configs.

Brought back the D, upgraded the A to a better loadout.

S replaced with a four JJ variant of weapons, I will post when I have more time.
G date changed by one year. Still fits, but nothing huge.
L redesigned, ended up better: HAG 40, 4 Tons ammo, U-AC 10, 2 Tons ammo, 5 MPL's, 1 ER SL.
A has Two LPL's, 1 U-AC 20 with 3 Tons ammo, and a Gauss Rifle with 2 Tons ammo, 1 ER SL. Added a DHS or two.
D has 2 U-AC 10's, 3 Tons ammo each, 2 LPL's, and 3 ER SL's. Added 4 DHS.

I'm updating the Google Doc's site, but will be changing out the OP in this thread later this week, hopefully. If not, July 1 at the earliest.

Edit: OP Updated by the time you likely read this, going in and changing out the configuration information in the OP right now.

To build an assault mech is challenging, building an assault omni even further.
What I'm completely missing is consistency. You move your guns through the variants that it feels like you are throwing darts. I know OmniMechs are super versatile and the original mechs didn't were that well constructed either. Ok I know you get advices to create diversity but by shaking it you don't get diversity.

I also dislike the ES and XL - choose one and your Mech doesn't feel like a Mary Sue.

Just as an example, you don't need
The Lochaber - is 90tons, with XL and FF. 39t Modul capacity.
Prime is the Sniper (TC, and 3x15dmg blocks)
Alt. A is medium range damage dealer 4x10damage blocks
Alt.B support mech with 2 ALRM20s and some lasers
Alt.C is the guy you don't want to meet in a dark alley...
Alt.E has all the stuff -ATMs, HAG, Heavy Lasers
Alt.X experimental stuff -ProtoMech Acs, Rotary ACs, iHeavy Lasers and CASEII
