Title: A few features I'm not seeing, and a small issue
Post by: GreenDragon on 30 January 2011, 05:44:37: I may just be blind, or missing something obvious, but the "go down/up" buttons and Spell Checker seem to be missing. Is it just me? If not, will they be restored eventually? (No rush).

Also, as I mentioned in the Favorite ST thread - sorry, I was irritated about something else, and it got the better of me - once my text had exceeded the space of this window, it would automatically jump to top after every keystroke. Thus requiring me to type blind or end the post. It only happened the one time (I haven't had any other long posts). And I don't know if its a bug in the new forum or on my end (Windows 7 & current IE (8 IIRC)).

Post by: deathshadow on 30 January 2011, 07:23:00: Actually, thanks for mentioning those... I never really used go up/go down myself, so I forgot about it... as to spell check I'm an Opera user, so ditto ditto.

Both features have been enabled now -- hopefully they actually work.

Post by: Scotty on 30 January 2011, 14:17:18: The small issue I've only ever noticed when using a laptop (and this is not the first time I've encountered it). If you weren't, you might consider trying a long post on a desktop to check.

I've seen it on my laptop running Windows 7/Firefox a couple of times.

The old boards labelled all of Today's Posts as "Today", and the previosu day as "Yesterday", and older posts by date. New one only seems to have "Today" and dated. "Yesterday" made it easy to find all posts since my last visit at a glance.
Is this an option I've missed, or one that can be easily added?
