More like the pitch black outside your helmet, without even the stars you'd see in space...

All Battle armor have HUDs, which would likely be displaying Navigational data as long with info from the units sensors, and any other info the unit might be receiving like say the occasional navigation beacon, assuming there any in the area that are responding to you.
Not to mention the units head lights as well as Thermal and or low light sensors, I would also assume Radar/sonar would be in use, so say little of hydrophones.

Though It should be noted that 200m is not as dark as some would think, though AFAIK theirs little in the way of usable light at 200m, but it's only at 1,000m that is generally considered the pitch black zone.

if there is at least a little light, then with the right filters and amplifiers, you could at least get a look of what is around you.

As an alternative to multi-purpose missiles or LRT's can I get a version with Advanced SRM's? I realize that their heavy and don't have as much reach, but the fact that each missile rolls it's own hit location is a massive bonus.

No such model exists in canon, so you'd have to look in Fan Designs for it.

Operating a suit at those depths has got to be an...interesting experience, psychologically. xp

Unlike so man questions, there are people we can ask about this.  Atmospheric Diving Suits like the Newtsuit or ADS 2000 can go as deep as 2,000 feet(610 m).
I'm rarely right... Except when I am.  ---  Idle question.  What is the BV2 of dread?
Apollo's Law- if it needs Clan tech to make it useable, It doesn't deserve those resources in the first place.
Sure it isn't the most practical 'mech ever designed, but it's a hundred ton axe-murderer. If loving that is wrong I don't wanna be right.

Is there a torpedo equivalent to the Advanced SRM?
Be the Loremaster:

Battletech transport rules take a very feline approach to moving troops in a combat zone: If they fits, they ships.

You bought the box set and are ready to expand your BT experience. Now what? (Thanks Sartis!)
