Hey guys, I'm running an AS game on Thursday of GenCon based on the Measure of a Hero novel and part of the game is going to be consumeables for completing objectives or side objectives. It's a 3 mission mini campaign going over various story plots. Right now i have the following:
- Improve Pilot Skill for duration of the event
- Single-use Long Tom artillery attack
- Swap out any Mech on your team with a pre selected "upgrade" Mech (thinking primarily Steiner heavies and assaults since all the story is based around Lyran space)
Between rounds, the winning team gets salvage (simple 9+ on 2D6 for destroyed units) to reinforce their team before the next round.
I'm looking for ways to reward teams with this kind of stuff. Have you ever seen/done any rewards like this and your games? Was any of it super broke?
