Pita had many nicknames:

Pita Bread
Pitot Tube
Tubes
Pete
Bread Stick
Hunter Killer Cat

She liked nothing more than murder.  One summer day she took out seven ground squirrels - the next day she got five.

She will be missed.

Don't worry peeps.  Some day I'll be in your neck of the woods and I'll gladly buy you a beverage.

Tomorrow we will be concluding our KublaCon game at "Sam's Place" in Novato.  This place is a new venue for us.  Basically we are getting the back room at a restaurant - so food and drink should be at beck and call.

Well see how it goes.  8)

*MY* Amtrak ride would be wonderful, actually. I've done it twice, and I don't mind doing it again. Greyhound wouldn't be bad if they removed 20% of the seats and enforced a noise limit.

This game was spillover from Kublacon neh? I agree it was somewhat larger and more epic in scope than I prefer for a single game session, but it was a con came. Wasn't that the point?

The final forces seemed roughly equal, but since you didn't get your reinforcements until turn 5 you were hosed. The game never was a fair fight. One little fun fact I discovered this morning; your Long Toms were hocking HE rounds. HE rounds do 25/15/5 damage....

I can't speak for Doug, but as for myself, well:

1)  Scared of heights.  Seriously, I have panic attacks.

2)  Scared of flying.  Tied to the above somehow.  Last time I got into an airplane, I was legally intoxicated when I stepped off.  It was either get slobbering drunk, or scream and whine for the whole trip.

Those two reasons alone are why I won't fly anymore unless I'm forced to.

The hemi one has big internal differences.  The 6 pack one has a different part number so it's throttle body probably shifts a little higher.

Really depends on the mileage - if it's low that's not bad.  If it's high that's a total rip off.

If you go to the older body (96) you can save some serious coin.  Your down around $1500 here.

And is a beast to park at Walmart too eh? We've got a '90 extended cab Cummins with the 5 speed. Great truck, but man I hate trying to park it in town.

I just park far away and pull all the way forward.  The worst is when I go to Oakland to play CBT - if there is no parking on the street I have to park in this lil parking garage.  Very scary trying to get out.  Luckily it's a 4x4 which gives it a better turning circle

I never got to drive large pieces of industrial equipment to school. Ride there on the side of a garbage truck, yes, but that's not the same. I feel as if my youth was somehow left incomplete

You drove a dumptruck to school?  Sweet!!!!

(I know, I shouldn't admit this, but I drove one one time.  With a regular class C.  What? ???  It was around our front yard.  My dad won it in a raffle.  Too bad we had to sell it, price of diesel was too high for us at the time.  Pity, we could've made some extra money with it.)

To be fair it was to the Business College at the University I went to for awhile. It's a one-ton dump. Not a massive one... However the chrome stack belching black smoke on start up sure got me the looks from the frat boys and sorority girls.

Nope, that's the closest one.  Trust me.  The one in Temple closed down over a decade ago, I live nowhere close to San Marcos, San Antonio, College Station, or any of the other places.

We're Knights of the Round Table. We dance whene'er we're able. We do routines and chorus scenes with footwork impeccable. We dine well here in Camelot. We eat ham and jam and spam a lot. We're Knights of the Round Table. Our shows are formidable, But many times we're given rhymes that are quite unsingable. We're opera mad in Camelot. We sing from the diaphragm a lot. In war we're tough and able, Quite indefatigable. Between our quests we sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable. It's a busy life in Camelot. I have to push the pram a lot.

I was totin' my pack
Along the dusty Winnemucca road
When along came a semi
With a high and canvas covered load
"If you're going to Winnemucca, Mack
With me you can ride."
So I climbed into the cab
And then I settled down inside
He asked me if I'd seen a road
With so much dust and sand
And I said,
"Listen, Bud I've traveled
Every road in this here land."

I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
'Cross the deserts bare, man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel, I've had my share, man
I've been everywhere.

Been to Reno, Chicago, Fargo, Minnesota,
Buffalo, Toronto, Winslow, Sarasota,
Wichita, Tulsa, Ottawa, Oklahoma,
Tampa, Panama, Mattawa, La Paloma,
Bangor, Baltimore, Salvador, Amarillo,
Tocopilla, Barranquilla, and Padilla, I'm a killer.
I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
'Cross the deserts bare, man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel, I've had my share, man
I've been everywhere.

Boston, Charleston, Dayton, Louisiana,

Monterey, Ferriday, Santa Fe, Tallapoosa
Glen Rock, Black Rock, Little Rock, Oskaloosa,
Tennessee, Hennessey, Chicopee, Spirit Lake,

I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man

Of travel, I've had my share, man
I've been everywhere.

I run a campaign for the NorCal BT group.  It's been going for over three years.

I created my own Warchest system and ruleset for the Mercs involved.

As a result I play on the bad guy side and my forces are determined more by what minis I have painted in the scheme of the opposing force.  I over 1000 painted mechs.

To see my style I would have to post my Martial Olymipia Forces from way back.

I'm lucky that most of the players have m-f 9-5 type jobs.

But other players don't:
One guy is a baggage handler for United.
Another a machine shop estimator
Another a grocery clerk
Another a fish merchant

These guys have a hard time getting the weekend off

If they really need it they will go through the steps to get it including condemning you property.

6 years! Sounds annoying. Glad they didn't try that with myself and my neighbor. IIRC, they wanted to put in a dirt road to access some kind of water pumping station in the greenbelt behind my place. I never understood why because there was already access to it on the other side of the greenbelt. It just takes longer to drive around.

FW109D13
Mustangs
Lightnings
King Air Cobra
B17s

B25
Spitfire
Hurricane
Sea Furies
Spruce Goose
