Galaxy Next Door and Matagi Gunner.  Interesting contrasts.  Also started "I may be a guild receptionist, but I'll solo any boss to clock out on time"

Just finished Fake Saint of the year.  Starting Executed Sage becomes a Lich and starts a war of aggression and Refuse Harem.

I liked how Fake Saint was done, and kind of made me want to look into galgames.  However pretty sure there aren't any specifically like it out there I'd play.  There were some rather cringey parts, outdated attitudes and the like that I pushed aside.

Catching up on I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time manga.  Its fantasy thing no iseka to be found,  girl is a ball of frustration with ability to put rest any threat of excessive paper work since she hides her identity.

I do fear that with pending anime adaption, it will ruin the story since those shows seem to not be quality products only to advertise the LN / Manga publications.

Not a manga, but working my way through the Monogatari Series light novels right now. Turns out Nisemonogatari is just as much of a slog as a LN as it was in the anime.
Personal Units: Pleiadan Dragons (Mercenary), The Blessed Blade (Word of Blake), Jormungandr Galaxy (Rasalhague Dominion)

One of the epilogue chapters of Dungeon Meshi was a really nice touch that wrapped up the manga, and showcased Laios, Falin and Marcielle post dungeon life.  Even gives an update to Kensuke.  Very touching.

Chapter 144 of "Don't Bully Me Ms. Nagatoro!" and they finally declare their love.

That"s pretty good for a romance manga.
We hear that there are tumults and riots in Rome, and that voices are raised concerning the army and the quality of our soldiers. Make haste to reassure us that you love and support us as we love and support you, for if we find that we have left our bones to bleach in these sands in vain, then beware the fury of the legions.

...
dragon half
...

If you haven't seen it (or haven't seen it recently) the OVA adaptation is truly a ludicrous spectacle.  They got a who's-who of '90s seiyuu, really just a fabulous cast being incredibly silly.

gon

I read the Dark Horse Manga release back in the day.  Really enjoyable!
I think there's an easter egg referring to Gon in the Kaijyu No. 8 opening, too.

I need to catch up on Space Brothers, which is certainly going to be the longest series I've read.
Waiting anxiously for the next Dangers In My Heart to drop.

Yay, my issue is basically they don't really put out stuff I am into anymore or at least findable for English readers or Western readers. I like hard sci-fi, I like comedy but not in high school. I've been reading some of the fantasy stuff but that seems to be all that's being put out right now at least not that I can find. Seems like you have to go retro to find something satisfying to read, but maybe cuz I'm getting old.

yes and no...i started to read call of the night(yofukashi no uta)...its funny and in away takes on alot of angsty stuff
not saying its great but it seems to go a bit retro to make story good
same goes for saga of tanya (youjo senki)the evil...
nanbaka both manga and anime is way out there...but by far old school retro read i will take a living game manga...it was from 80s art was simple and story was primary over the art...and it was still feel good story and fun to read.
if you really want something dramatic and set in historic times try reading bokko lets just say its not your usual story

Nagatoro is a wrap. Good manga.

Ideal Sponger Life is currently my ongoing favorite title. The MC is not all-knowing and the other characters are not stupid nor one dimensional.
