Battletech Games in Hampton Roads (Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, VA Beach etc

I bought some models and paints and tried out the essentials kit from target and would like to get more into the game.

I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and wanted to see if there’s any games that go on around here that I could visit and get a feel for how things go. I was told at a game store in Portsmouth they occasionally will see games but that there’s more of a scene in VA Beach.

I haven't been down that way in 5 years or so but the spot that used to see some regular play is Tower of Games off of Indian River Rd in VA Beach.  Looking over their calander it lists open play on Mondays.

If you don't mind a day trip there is also a group in Midlothian at Battlegrounds that meets every other Saturday starting around 1ish (game this upcomming weekend).
