Point taken... but we do know part of Paul's later history as the Custodes.

Just to clarify what Herb actually said:
The scene in question was not de-canonized. Herb only declared that they might change it. No such change was declared until now, and unless Mr. Pardoe's new book is the one to retcon this scene it's going to stay canonical.

I just read the "How to catch a liar" book.  It has some useful advice.  The author missed two techniques that I've heard about.  It took me about half to a full hour to read.
I don't expect to get much done Saturday with Blaine's book getting released.

Yes, I speed read, especially things I enjoy.

I really enjoyed the characterizations.. to use the terms tossed around here- nobody had the idiot ball and nobody deployed the fiat.  Nice job on the battle scenes, they flowed well and you picked some great locations.  It was fun to see some old friends again.

Mine was Albany's surprise.

Sweet the PoD release was added simultaneously. Betrayal of Ideals was the first BT novel I read and enjoyed it immensely (yes I’m really late to the fiction party) so I’m looking forward to seeing what this one has in store.

You bought the box set and are ready to expand your bt experience. Now what? | Modern Sourcebook Index | FASA Sourcebook Index | Print on Demand Index
Equipment Reference Cards | DIY Pilot Cards | PaperTech Mech and Vehicle Counters

Ha!  That WAS fun.  The look on Albany's face!  I can see it in my mind's eye.

I enjoy where Trent eventually ended up...oddly fitting.

Of course all of this feeds into future stuff as well.

I'm just glad I was able to set something right after all of these long years.
