My god things change fast :P I went from only having two things to do this weekend to five :P My attendance is now a last minute decision :P AKA, if I decide to wake up at nine in the morning and drive in from Dekalb, where I'll be answering a lot questions all night :P

I am still planning on being there, but I might change my mind as I am a bit battleteched out at the moment.

Well as it stands, my car just blew a brake line.  If it does not get fixed by Sat. morning, I will not be able to make it to my own game.

Yeah for fate and her cruel ways.

I will post Friday night or when I know more for sure.

Thanks you,

My car has this fun thing now where one of the shock absorbers is shot, right below the impact-sensitive fuel cutout switch.  Ford cars are fun!

I'm still planning on being there, though carpooling anyone may be a problem.

Damage is randomly rolled.  I will empty MG ammo bins for the players if they like.  PBIs need bullets. :)

I'm now VERY doubtful for tomorrow.  I've had a headache and not much of an appetite today.  I took my temp about 20 minutes ago and found out I was running a 101.1 fever.  If this doesn't break (which I doubt it will) I'm out for tomorrow.

The day broke with the Task Force fortifying the pass awaiting the battle....

The Smoke Jaguar warriors rushed the pass as the Comstar armor came through.  The Jaguars range advantage and accuracy decimated the tanks, but the Von Luckner in the lead scored a lucky scatter on a Shroud Keshik Loki, dropping him and killing his Elemental riders.

By this time the Kingston's Legionares and 4th Drakoons had started a flanking maneuver though a small hole in the mountain wall.

Both sides proved tentative to engage in full, fearing the slug fest that would ensue.  It was not long until the fast flanking force engaged the Jaguars Den.  Seeing the wisdom in being anothers eyes, the Rashehague Quickdraw provided spotting as a downpour of missles fell on the unsuspecting Daishi.  Yet for all the damage the pilot's msterful hand kept the beast in the fight.

The Elementals delivered to the fore front of the battle line engaged in anti-mech attacks on the Lyran and Comstar assaults while the fearless warriors of the Shroud Keshik vaulted the stone wall to engage enemy where he dwelled in percieved safety.  These valient warriors stoud fast as the overwhelimg firepower of the Task Force's assault group filled the are with missle, cannon, and laser fire.

Generasl Winston lead the charge into the pass but was forced to pull back to cover a cunning incursion by the Jaguar medium skirmishers who had managed to pass overhead of the battle line while a masterful Hankyu pilot managed to exploit the tunnel the Kingston's Legionares had used to break out.  These master pilots made sure no one whould every curse them as washed up again as they threw the entire Task Force battle line into disarray.

In the waining seconds on the fight, many a proud warrior feel to his own hand or my fusion powered fire.  And the once valient Hankyu was all but clieved in half by the stead fast pilot of the Lyran Beserker.

Though they stould at the edge of defiet, the Smoke Jaguars held the line and out killed their foes. One warrior was responsable for felling 7 of his foes.

I want to thank everyone who came out and I hope you all had fun.

Who got 7 kills? I know it wasn't me :P I did have fun helping making disarray  :D At some point in the fight I realized people were lining up for the long range slug fest and that our assaults and heavies needed a distraction and went over the wall with malice in my little smoke jaguar heart.  [rockon] For some of my light, medium units, having +4 didn't help enough against two or three lances of heavies and assaults pouring into them, but most of them made it to the end.
