Title: [Non-BattleTech] Quick Warmachine repose
Post by: Lorcan Nagle on 01 October 2012, 17:09:56
So months ago, Markhall handed me a Warmachine mini to repose.  Namely, Maxwell Finn:

Mark asked that he have his arms stretched wide and game me a plastic knife from an Imperial Guard kit to put in his left hand. (as his left hand nominally has the side handle for his machine gun)

And I promptly lost the knife.

And tonight, amidst preparations for a holiday, I decided to take a break and assemble Finn.  Not being able to find the knife, I decided to make a new one out of plasticard.  It came out pretty good, I think:

Not the best photo, but you can get a good look at the various nocks I put in there to catch enemy melee weapons on:

to make the blade, I glued two strips of plasticard together, drilled a 1mm hole in one end and stuck it on a paperclip.  I then used a couple of files to shape it, mostly at angles to create the edge on the blade.

So you didn't go with my notion of giving it the slight modification of Stabbing the Conquest to death then?

Shame really.

Nice work. Cheers mate.

I love this guys fluff I'll take some photos this evening for a better view.
