I'm not worried about the lack of energy weapons. The Tufana is very much a tactical spotter, meant to operate as part of a larger force., if it manages to completely empty its ammo bins, it has more than accomplished its mission as a spotter/strike craft, and should probably return to base before its luck runs out.
If it manages to empty its MML bins before being slagged in a major engagement, considering the mix of spotting equipment it has, I'd be mildly surprised anyway. Narc, artillery, and semi-guided LRM counters all begin with the same first step: Neutralize the spotter somehow. Of the three hovercraft I'm aware of that mix Narc and TAG, the Tufana is the most lightly armored by a fair margin; the Zephyr and Scimitar are approximately the same but the Zephyr puts another four points on the turret the Scimitar spreads around the body locations. It's not so noticeable on the front plates (25 vs. 29 or 30) but on the sides, rear, or turret, it's
very evident.
The reason is that MML launcher. Zephyrs and Scimitars only have 5 tons of other equipment. On the plus side, the Tufana is faster, and unlike the Zephyr, Narc is in the turret, increasing your movement flexibility, although exposing your sides is
not a good idea in a hover.
