Some recent variant BA suits

I love using the DA BA stands to make new & exciting BA suits ... and also occasionally new and exciting variants. Behold!



From left to right:

Top Row:

the IS Standard BA space adaptation refit (aka "Sushi suit") - loses armor for space adaptation, life support, HMG, spotlight, and a heavy vibroclaw (its effect on JumpShip crew giving it it's nickname).

IS Assault BA (aka "Big Daddy") - the basic frame reinforced and up-armoured, carrying fixed medium laser and three-shot SRM-4.

IS Standard BA field refit (aka "Baka suit") - replaces the stock jumpjets with a pair of one-shot SRM-2 launchers. Nicknamed for the error message given whenever a user tries to activate the no-longer-present jumpjets.

Bottom Row:

Gray Death Support Suit - removes the enhanced sensors and limits the capacity of the modular mount in order to carry a two-shot LRM-2 launcher.

IS Standard BA field refit (aka "Fa Sure") - an Andurian development, it recycles salvaged/captured Fa Shih components to upgrade the IS Standard suit, giving it the same capabilities as the Capellan suit, but with better armour.

very cool. My favorite is easily your Baka Suits. The fluff and the mini are fantastic.

not to be too picky, but a drill would really look good on the big daddy.....maybe a creepy, little girl riding on the other shoulder? ;) ;)

That Sushi suit in this paintjob look a like the Terran marine from SC! And this is superb!

I thank you! I wanted the suit to look sleeker, hence the new helmet, use of an inverted Gnome backpack to replace the standard one, and trimming off the knee knobs. I've excused the layer over the MG as being a warming jacket.

yeah, after reading the Sushi Suit again it's pretty much my ideal Battle Armor for naval forces. Love that space stuff! It looks really nice too, but I still say that the Big Daddy is the best (earlier I misread your fluff) and thought it was the Baka Suit I was admiring. All of them are nice, but for stats I pick Sushi and for looks Big Daddy. For lunch Sushi sounds pretty good too  [drool]
