(Answered) ProtoMech Question
« on: 08 August 2013, 08:47:19 »
I have been reading about how ProtoMechs work in Alpha Strike and I just want to make sure about something. When you break down how much damage a single ProtoMech does and receives using the 'Individual ProtoMech Values Table' there seems to be no difference between the 21 point Minotaur card and the tiny 2 point Centaur card? I read it twice to make sure this is how they convert.

Minotaur can jump, sure. However, Centaur has faster movement, IF, Long Range damage, and both ProtoMech designs have a single armour dot and a single structure dot.

Is this right? 21 points compared to 2 points?

Yes.  You have gotten the rules correctly in your examples.
