Recognition Guide: ilClan vol 01 - Page 8 -Dominator Battle History

Errant Summary: Conflicting Histories - Which Republic unit fought XI Principes Guards or XI Triarii Protectors

Errant: Essentially wrong 11th was used in the battle. Shattered Fortress notes the invasion of Alula Australis by Clan Wolf in October 3150, was fought trial of possession against Republic regiment XI Principes Guards. However, in RecGuide 1 - Dominator's history notes that it was the XI (11th) Triarii Protectors.

EDIT - Double Checking the Field Manual: 3145, it looks like RecGuide v1 is in the wrong. Colonel Abasi was named in fighting, he was commander of the XI (11th) Principes Guards.

Correction: Change 11th Triarii Protectors to Principes Guards.

Problem The Cricket's equipment block lists the RL jump jet twice, giving the illusion of seven JJs. This is not possible due to the BR armor crit.

Problem: MAD-7C and 7R record sheets have erroneous side torso armor allocation, with right rear having 7 points and right front having 25 points. Judging by pg 7 stat block, right side armor allocation should be 24/8 just like the left torso.

There are two errors on this page.

1) there is no ammo for the LRM-15s on the record sheet.
2) the design is a whopping eight tons underweight.

Fix: unclear due to scope.

After adding the capacitor, the design is still one ton under weight.

Fix: Add Inner Sphere CASE II to the left torso as mentioned on page 13.

Problem: The record sheet is 1 ton under mass. The armor on the record sheet is identical to that of the Horned Owl (Peregrine) (Standard). According to "Horned Owl (Peregrine)", "Variants" (p. 6), "Based on an ancient prototype which drops the jump jets for armor and a targeting computer..."

Solution: The Horned Owl (Peregrine) 7 has 1 ton more armor than the Horned Owl (Peregrine) (Standard). Replace the armor of the Horned Owl (Peregrine) 6 with that of the Horned Owl (Peregrine) 7.

Misspelling: "Battle History", 1st Paragraph, 2nd Sentence: "Swift-moving scout Stars anchored by Kit Foxs were able to quickly isolate and annihilate the Davion forces."
Solution: Replace Foxs with Foxes or Foxes (depending upon italicization conventions for plural BattleMech names).
