is a bow the best personal weapon?

I stumbled upon 3 strength+bow+srm2 combo character creation. Bow does 2(+1 from strength) damage on every range, but it's not ballistic, nor energy damage, which make armor less effective.

What's Your favorite one?

Even as a low weight weapon, a long bow is a large object, making difficult to hide or transport it.
Also, arrows take more space than bullets.
Outside combat, it isn't the best weapon to move around.

In combat, I agree with you. The fact that it is almost silent is a great advantage.
