Finally got past the writer's block.  I'll likely get around to publishing it next week after I've proof and fact checked.

Has there been any movement on the large number of Capellan mechs that had their articles pulled, written by Empyrus?

I'll try to get back to it. Haven't had much enthusiasm for BattleTech for a while.

Any particular ones you're especially interested in?

Not any one in particular, I’ve read just about every other mech that’s been posted, so would be nice to finish the reading.  :))

The Cappies have been growing on me more and more since I came back and their units generally confuse me.

I was thinking of doing the Daimyo, but looking at the MUL there's variants I'm not familiar with. the 2KA and 3K

Does TRO:J have new variants, or is something weird happening in MUL land?

TRO Jihad: "by combining the ’Mechs previously found in Technical Readout: 3050 Upgrade , Technical Readout: 3055 Upgrade , Technical Readout: 3058 Upgrade , Technical Readout: 3060 , Technical Readout: 3067 , Technical Readout: 3075 , Technical Readout: 3085 , and Technical Readout: Project Phoenix "

EDIT Ah, sorry, misunderstood. The compilation TROs are just that, compilations, no changes or additions to text. The 3KA and 3K are mentioned somewhere (probably TRO3055/J entry for Daimyo) but don't have record sheets.
EDIT2 Hmm, weren't in TRO3055U.
EDIT Could be they're units alluded to in original TRO3055 perhaps, but very vaguely, and MUL team just created designations for them. There's some precedent, see the Huron Warrior: http://www.masterunitlist.info/Unit/Details/4342/huron-warrior-hur-wo-r3l
This variant is only described in the 'Mech entry, designation is created by the MUL team.

Kind of looking forward to reading the Crucible write-up myself. It's the most... 3050 design I've seen in a long while outside of a couple where they were constrained by clickytech.

I seem to have adopted the t-bolt article, unless the OP wants to handle the Rec Guide updates?

If everyone's cool with it, I'd like to reserve the Jade Phoenix. I already have some Thoughts about it from ilClan but I do want to wait until it gets released in a recguide.

Well, my last attempt at a MoTW didn't get much attention, but I will take another crack at a near-forgotten transitional design that never entered full production:  the Omni-Corvis.

cheers,

Gabe
So, now I'm imagining people boxing up Overlords for loading as cargo.  "Nope, totally not a DropShip.  Everyone knows you can't fit a DropShip in a WarShip!  It's...a ten thousand ton box of marshmallows!  Yeah.  For the Heavy Guards big annual smores party."
--Arkansas Warrior, on the possibility of carrying Dropships as cargo in Warship cargo bays.

Sometimes things just unfold that way.  I expected maybe 10 or so people to reply to my Thresher MK II article and instead got 3 pages.  Conversely I put of the Fulcrum this morning and have close to fourty views but no replies yet either *shrug*

I'll throw a couple of requests here:
Mongoose (and Mongoose II?)
Guillotine

So that we can get this filled:

Trebuchet is missing too. If someone wants to go completionist, feel free, I'll update that directory thread if able.

I haven't done a MOTW in a long while.  I'll take the Guillotine!  Always liked it and the new mini is fantastic.
