OK so with all that is going on I am holding off on the next mission. If things change I will let you know.

Guess that is the smart thing to do but should we still post our forces?

I just got word that the party that forced me to skip the game has been cancelled.  Instead of having too much to do that day, I've got zilch. xp
Well, I have minis still in their blisters.

Just life telling to to get painting  >:D

The total force should probably have a mix.  We really should have a vtol along for every mission to give us eyes in the sky.  Given the number of Manticores that we've seen, we should prepare for heavy tanks for this mission.  I recommend nothing slower than 5/8.
Can we do a recon of the area before sending in the main force?  Are the satellites at all useful?

OK so I have an idea to keep things moving with the shutdown.

We have been doing play by text/phone with the boys in Maine so we can do the same for all.
I would need to know what maps people have so I can set missions up.

Will have to work out some more bugs. This can work if we all try. I am looking more along text lines due to the group size.

So if you want to do this chime in

If that is going to work, we will have to have a relatively small force involved.  I also recommend no more than two maps.
A few of the grasslands maps are based on the older maps, but I don't know which ones.  The Maine crew has a set, I have a set, and Anthony and Chris have a set.  Everyone else may have one of the earlier versions.  If not, the FASA maps frequently had blank hex grids on the back.  If we chose fairly simple terrain from the grasslands set, those who didn't have it could pencil in the major terrain features.

Slow down.
First what maps do you have?
I need to know what maps people have.
Then I will figure out how many and what maps will be used.
As for unit size things will more or less stand a the have.
Now thing will be full blind and will make for some interesting happenings  >:D

But it will be up to all if we do this. So let me know if me even want to try.

At Camp Kaki the alarm is sounding. “All personal we have a security breach in bunker 4. All personal are to report to security stations. Security teams report to the XO. I Say again we have a security breach in bunker 4. All personal are to report to security stations. Security teams report to the XO.”
“Sergeant what is the problem?” Lieutenant Tan asks.
“Mam we had an alarm trip in bunker 4.” Sergeant Exhume responds.
“Do we have any personal in that bunker?’
“No mam. The OP team was checking the woods.”
“How did the intruders get in?”
“We do not know at this time. Lieutenant Abreu has Echo and Foxtrot squads moving to the bunker.”
“Who is backing them up?”
“Lieutenant Ash and Sergeant Bobbi in there rides.”
“Have Sergeants Sato and Kingsley mount up and walk the back side. No more than half a click out. Tell them to stay frosty.”
“Mam Lieutenant Baines and Sergeant Barcenes are on the horn and they have the armor unit warming up. They have techs in the Boom Stick just in case.”
“Good. Have Alpha and Bravo Infantry stay on their security sweeps.” Tan looks over the maps. “Tell them they may have to get back this was P.D.Q.”
“Roger that mam.”
“Inform GSF command what is going on and then make sure the boss is up to speed.”
“Roger that Mam. I know he is in bound from the mission but is a long way out.”
“Have Sergeants Rey and Sighn on standby. Have the techs get my ride warmed up. Last off get some warm bodies on the new toys the boss got.”
“Roger that.” The sergeant gets back on the radio. “Mam my squad and Delta have the security here handled.”
“Last off make sure that all our support personal are armed and that all locals are in the shelter.”
“Already done mam.”

according to my notes camp kaki is where the hands of the goddess are stationed is it not?

It is. It was originally the backstory for why I would not be able to attend the game, but this was before the outbreak.

Nope, I'm doing everything I can from my desk, but when you get printers that are misbehaving, or computers that need to be assembled or replaced, someone has to be in there.  Besides, it's my team, I'm not going to watch them get into trouble without me...

To keep things moving along  >:D

In the Ghost command center. “Mam I have an airborne contact heading our way. It is at angles 7, moving at 100 kph.”
“Are we expecting any flights?”
“Negative.”
“Have Kochi Flight check into this.”
“Yes mam. Kochi Flight this is control. You are to intercept a contact heading north from Majuro.”
“Roger Control. Will intercept in 5 mikes.” Looking at the map of the area. “One to Two lets swing these birds around and see what control has picked up.”

Five minutes later the two Warrior Attack Helicopters spot a lone Karnov UR Transport.
“Kochi One to control, have aircraft in sight. It is a Karnov and it is painted up in Hand of the Goddess colors.”
“Roger one. We still do not have any ID on it. Have you made contact?”
“Negative control.” Checking her board. “It is not even squawking.”
“Roger one, See if you can make visual contact they may have electrical problems.”
“One to control moving in.” Switching links. “One to two. I will move in to see what is going on. You scan that bird and keep weapons lock on it.”
“Roger one. Starting scan now.”
“Pilot to gunner signal them.”
“Two to one. Scan shows it to be a late model Karnov. ICE power and MGs port and starboard. it is showing damage and the electronics are having problems.”
“Gunner to pilot. They are reporting they had a fire on board. Comms are down and they are low on fuel.”
“Inform them we will escort them to a landing field. Emergency personal will be on hand.”
“Yes Gunsho.”
“Also have them come to 250.”

“Sho-sa I just checked the Hands T.O.&E. and they do not use that model Karnov.”
“Inform Kochi of that. Have them keep a close eye on that ship.” She looks over to the duty officer. “Have Seishin lance ready for action.” Looking at the screen. “If the Kokuryu-kai thinks such an old trick will work, let us play along for now. If that bird strays one bit blow it from the sky.”

In the harbor Samar. “You will be off loaded later tonight. You will be on one of the cargo trucks that will be moving out in the morning. The truck will off load you 10 klicks northeast of your objective.” Looking over the men in the cargo hold. “You will recon the site. I want reports on guard postings and shifts. Do not enter the site. You have three days. The others will be ready in five days.”

“OK people look sharp. When the noise starts we move in.” Ching Shi states over her link to her others in her attack force. “Nothing fancy! We hit hard and move out. IF something worthwhile falls our way take it. This is just a smash raid and I want minimum damage taken by us.”
