My Lyran Guards... ALL of them
« on: 13 October 2016, 22:35:36 »
So after not being able to play Battletech in MONTHS save for Masters and Minions at Gencon, I told my FLGS crew that I was bringing my boys in blue and white out to play for the first time (as an Elsie player I mostly brought out Arcturan and Donegal Guards)

Nearly 8 hours of Alpha Strike later and there was nearly a Battalion of casualties on either side...and no solid conclusion.  So you know, a typical Battletech game.  Anyway here is my mech Roster

Go Lyrans! We shall rule the Inner Sphere with an iron fist!
You! Obey the fist!!! *shakes fist*

Ha ha! Great work. I spot a Mad Dog III. I've been wanting a couple for My Ghost Bears, and Lyrans, and Davions.

What is that thing on the far right, behind the Thanatos?

Hey, everyone used panthers in the Star League era!

The Doloire is justified by an integrated Stormhammer, the Pulverizer is justified by "screw you, i want one!"

Sweet group! I especially like seeing some of the non-typical mechs in this color scheme. Particularly the Mad Dog MKIII, Timberwolf, and original Templar. Sexy. Even without a Marauder, Warhammer, or Legacy in the mix... ^-^

Any Gurteltier's in the mix of armor?

There was indeed a Gurteltier in the armor group.

It was very crunchy, and tasted good with ketchup.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

Be honest Scotty, you got one motive crit and only damaged 2/3rds of its armor.

Let's be equally honest: I should have left a burning wreck with how much I threw at it.
