will these minis eventually be put in the IWM site as online exclusives like the ones in the years previous?

+1 for me as well I'm afraid.

As the con exclusives are more expensive than run of the mill mechs perhaps its an opportunity to sculpt alternate versions that otherwise wouldn't see the light of day.

For example, my inner munchkin would particularly like to see the KGC-010 version of the King Crab  :D

I will add my vote for no more jumping mechs. One of the reasons I won't buy the latest version of the Panther. I try and get the old sculpt off of the auction site.

Its not all that hard to convert the jumping Panther to a standing pose, just annoying. I for one don't want to see more jumping mechs, rare variants would be a good way to go.

i'll throw in another vote for rare variants, or custom variants, the jumping mechs have lost their novelty after the 3 in a row they did.

my vote is for a Charger 1A1 resculpt. But that's because I'm not going to make it this year. Though a remake Crescent Hawks PHawk LAM would be cool too.

Another idea may be a characters mech, it would be pretty simple. Just sculpt new parts and make up some well known characters infamous ride.

it would have to be a resculpt of the CGR-1A1 because IWM don't have the mold for the original 1A1.  I asked Mike Noe a few years back and it was one of the ones they didn't have.

Also resculpting will hopefully make it a bit bigger and bring it in line with current scale.

I don't know why there are so many people against jumping 'Mechs.

They are unique, dynamic, instantly recognizable, and a lot of fun to paint.  I would not mind another jumping model.  We are lucky to have them.

been used three years in a row, and now there's a regular sculpt in a jumping position. so yeah they're cool and we're luck to have them or whatever other reason, but let's get creative and shake things up. so, we're not against jumping mechs (in fact i don't think anyone said "i'm against jumping mechs" so i'm not sure where you got that idea), i have the hatchetman, but 3 years in a row is a lot, hence why we're saying shake it up.

**Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! Mr Kotter, Mr Kotter!**

 ;D

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Anyway, how about a jumping QUAD of some sort?  ??? You can't say it's ever been done, Officially anyway. Granted, there's not many to choose from. In my copy of HMPro, I only found the Snow Fox 2, Tarantula ZPH-1A, and White Flame WHF-3B. I guess there may be more, but I've never updated my HMPro, and I'm not about to dig through all my TRO's - I don't have TRO 3085 anyway, OR any of the XTRO's. Anyway, if they ARE going to do another jumper, why not a jumping Quad? Chances are, by this point in time, they've made their decision, the mini's been sculpted, reviewed, approved, and sent off to be cast already. We've got less than 2 months until Gen Con after all!  :o

The first Interstellar Conspiracies book with  Bounty HUnter info

Bounty Hunter kit includes a B. H. Mad Cat S, B.H. Marauder II, and the Bounty Hunter's Nighthawk BA

IWM never was that big on announcements. From time to time we will see a list here, but that is not a fixed schedule, neither. When new miniatures are up, they will be seen on the first page of the webshop/catalog.

If that is real, I wonder what is going to be going with it? A dossier pack or a AToW adventure?

i assume another dossier pack, since IIRC it was announced that there would be another set before year's end, and it would seem sooner than later since the release date is in and around august

it would be the eventually part I have issues with.   [tickedoff]

I already have plans to incorporate it into my unit, custom IS variants to match the mini and a friend and I are already planning fan funding if IWM doesn't do it automatically.

Tomorrow is acceptable, Today is better, Eventually doesn't cut it.

Just announced, 2 LE minis for the cons this year, both are jumping mechs, one is the Rifleman RFL-7X from 3085 and the other is the Rifleman IIC 8 from 3085. Looks like they also can go without the jump packs.

*blinks* OK...I am getting a lance of the Rifleman 7X...I need a phoenixed Rifleman, anyway..

Though, looking at the pictures, it seems that the RFL-7X..the jump plumes are an "optional"..I might only
put them on one of the mechs, and keep hte rest in the running pose.

The Rifleman IIC looks wrong somehow, while the 7X at least has one bent leg to give the impression of jumping. Not much work was needed to be redone for these sculpts. The 7X has the boulder removed from beneath the left foot and gets new arms and the jump pack. The IIC seems to have the torso reworked and new arms. I think I'll skip the opportunity to acquire either of these

I think the problem is that people are getting jaded on the jumping 'mechs...One or two was cool....but when they
KEEP doing them, every year...they are just not that exciting anymore. The best were the Jumping Hatchetman
and the DFA Jadehawk...after that? Just repetition. Can I have something like the K2 catapult or the Block II Leviathan
again, please? How about the Samurai from the OLD Aerotech cover? How about some of the other really dynamic poses
from recent art? There is so much they can do beyond just "Let's make it JUMP!"

Considering that the K2 Catapults still go for significant amounts when sold, and the Leviathan is never seen below the $150 bracket, I'm sure those few complainers would be silenced.

The Leviathan on IWM is horrible.  Absolutely horrible.  So they should replace it.

The K2 Catapult is a really nice miniature that looks more like the original artwork.  The C4 that IWM currently sells is okay... but the K2 is awesome.  Especially if they could sell it with missile racks.

Will not take much work on either of the Riflemen to put them into non-jumpy poses...

BUT, I am quite sad that they are Con-exclusives. I have been most desirous of a RFL-7X since I first saw it in the 3085 book... and now there is a chance I shall not be able to get it? Sadness, deep sadness...

Or two other models that combine to greater effect - ie the Dragon drop kicking the Enforcer

Like a midair collision, you mean? Interesting thought- I'd considered doing something like that with a Jade Hawk and something on the ground (a Legacy was my intended victim) as a DFA attack, but I don't know what I did with the blister for my second jumping Jade Hawk... the tragedies of moving, I suppose.

Ha yes, with the focus on jumping 'mechs I suppose the best we could expect from an IWM Exclusive is a mid air collision.

No, I was hoping for a little more thought from the powers that be at IWM and have a scenario based pair for future exclusives.
