Is anyone else here reading Pibgorn? It's a rather odd and occasionally surreal comic about fairies, succubi, and on occasion some truly shameless film noir dialogue.

Note: I did mention succubi. They take their job seriously, so while the comic doesn't really go nsfw(that I've yet seen), it can get risqué.

I haven't read that in years.  It was good but it seemed to wrap up when i was reading it.

I'm still working my way forward through the archives, but it's definitely getting updated. At the least, there's different pages up whenever I accidentally click to the current page instead of forward from my current one. And they're definitely in the middle of another noir bit right now. :)

I've been pruning my webcomic readings, mostly due to slow or uninteresting story arcs.  I think I might actually be down to the lowest number I've ever had since I joined the Battletech forums.

We have all been there, showing a book/movie/show that you love to your significant other, nervously wondering if she/he will like it. Whiteboard

Meanwhile our SSSS group must deal with loss of a valuable memeber, I'm not spoiling which one.

Looks like it. As I recall it was mentioned in the past that AIs get high or drunk by messing with their software, drivers, and processors.
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

Last 4 pages were 1 page/week. Patreon money is a powerfull incentive.

Powerful incentive because it mean that shaving hours from your other jobs doesn't hurt when you get a steady income from Pateron to support the webcomic project.

Unfortunately, too many would-be webcomic artists think that Paetron is some sort of magic genie that just gives you money and don't realize that making money off a webcomic requires just as much effort as any other job.

which mean either they didn't wait until they gauged how much Paetron is coming in before shaving hours from their "daytime" job(s) to put more in their webcomic or they didn't properly appraise the hours they put into the webcomic (coming out low income for high hours).

Today's Grrl Power page is funny as well, and author comments something that made me laugh:
Quote
My favorite thing about this page is that when confronted with… whatever that is there in the back shooting at Sydney, let’s call it a world eater apocalypse demon god, her reaction is, “Meh, seeya.”

My God, Sydney Scoville is kicking serious ass in Grrl Power! I bet she's going to impress Maxima and Dabbler when they'll get the report. Assuming they'll believe it :o

Question is how she getting back. Only person who had the means to open the gate again then gave it away as gift to her boss.

She going to get exhausted sooner later, especially she needs to eat and drink.
