Title: Homebrew Total Warfare Rule Reference Sheet
Post by: Dakkon on 06 November 2017, 14:24:45
I made this double sided reference sheet for a 3-d terrain Battletech game I put on at a wargaming convention earlier this year (http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=59326.0). Feel free to use and modify it as you see fit. I recommend printing these sheets a bit larger than 8.5x11, it helps those with poorer eyesight. Lastly, I converted the hex based movement and ranges as follows on the sheets where applicable.

-For the movement of units 1 hex = 1.5 inches (rounding down)
-For weapon ranges 1 hex = 4 inches

Since I made this for a convention game, some of the rules are simplified or changed out right in order to conform to the constraints of running such a game. Such as: simultaneous shooting and physical combat phases (it speeds up the game dramatically when you have multiple people playing), Torso Twisting, LOS cones, etc.

Also, I couldn't fit all of the rules I used in the convention game on to the reference sheet (such as a chart for preexisting damage that effects piloting skill rolls), so it's advisable to have the Total Warfare rulebook on hand for those occasions.
