Thanks for posting those comparisons! O0  I think the new stinger may be a tad bigger than I'd prefer, but it's not outrageously out of scale.
At Comstar we listen. It's that simple.

I think I prefer the Primitive Wasp, although I'm sure some of these will find there way into my collection anyway.

Nice comparison gallery.

The new Wasp is a but chunkier than I'd call ideal, but that's presumably due at least as much to the source artwork as the sculpt.

Overall, I'd say it fits in OK. (As well as anything does in Battletech "scale")

The source art didn't scream 'wasp' to me at all, and neither does the mini, as a result. The primitive art and sculpt seems more modern and appropriate. Just my $0.02.

good looking mech, but the primitive feels more akin to the unseen

While not actually bad, I think the Classic Wasp mini gives me an even greater appreciation of the Primitive Wasp than I already had.

Loved the unseen Baboon. The new version seems...wrong...somehow.

Consider using a wire cutter to cut away the front and back of the base on the Flea. By doing so, makes it fit inside of the hex base, instead of on top of it. Just a suggestion, nothing more.

Or a rotary tool, like a dremel. less stress on both tools and model.
