The Piranha Sub-Capital Missile (TO, p.344) was given an errata that removed the -1 to-hit modifier that this missile possessed. This -1 to-hit modifier was a major advantage the Piranha had over other Capital Missiles. Knowing this, the Battle Value for the Piranha (TO, p.384) was never changed to reflect this errata update. The current BV for the Piranha is 670/84.
Compare this to the Piranha closest competitor, the White Shark (TM, p.318), which has a BV of 577/72. The White Shark does the same damage of 3 (TW, p.304) as the Piranha's (TO, p.410), has one further range bracket, and has the second strongest chance for a special Critical Hit (TW, p.239). The Piranha, however, has zero chance for a special Critical Hit.
