I have a long-delayed Men Shen article written up, ready to go whenever. I'm also working on a Matador article, but I doubt it'll interest many people so I'm keeping it as back-up.

Any requests? Otherwise I'm thinking of reserving the Grim Reaper.

Can we get the Canis done. Both of the articles in the archive are dead links.  :(

Ooh, I'll definitely do that! Mark it down for me instead of the Grim Reaper.
I've got a thing for homeworld second line 'mechs.

Just as Moonsword told us the last time it was requested, just over a week ago:
That was done over 18 months ago.

Since it was finally on top of my to-post list, and it had such a demand, I have dropped the Whammy on the board. Try to be kind...

Good call! I'm in no real rush to post my second-line 'Mech articles, since I know they wont inspire much discussion.

I'd also like reserve an updated article on the Crimson Hawk. Quick question: do the original authors of the ProtoMech of the Week articles want to upload them onto this version of the board? Otherwise we could restart a PotW series...

Can someone do the Quasit? Sadly overlooked for all these years....

In tansfering what I could from my old busted computer to my shiny new one I found a partially written Hellfire MotW that I volunteered for a ways back.

I'm going to finish it this week (need to re-test the 3 in MM a few times).  When I'm done I'll update here.

If someone actually did one and I missed it feel free to beat me

And, rather strangely, I wrote up most of a Kingfisher MotW last week. Needs a bit of polish and finish - and it'll be a casual piece - but I could have it ready this week (Friday night) or next. Let me know if/when I'm cool to post. Thanks!

Think we could get it this week? It'd be a good MotW to have!

So...from what I've seen, there could be three articles dropped today from people besides Kotetsu and myself:
-Moonsword: Templar
-jymset: Kingfisher
-cold1: Hellfire

Any takers? Otherwise I could get the Matador out of the way, but I want to give other people a chance to post something beforehand.

I can have the Hellfire for Friday 10/24

If that's taken I can back up a week or two

I'm going to start another as well but prefer to do the homeworld/obscure clan mechs.
Anything out there that hasn't been done?

I'll take the Stalking Spider and Bowman
Probably knock out one a month Nov and Dec

I thought the Stone Rhino was covered with the Matar/Folly/etc?

Dropped the Canis since it looked like it wasn't going to cramp anyone else's style this week.
With that done, the Crimson Hawk is next on my list. After that...I'll give cold1 first pick at that secondline list, but I'd like to do the Ha Otoko or Ursus/Ursus II.

EDIT: Welp, nvm. Consider the Ursus/Ursus II reserved!

I'll get the Hellfire up Friday or Saturday.

I'll take the Stalking Spider for November and the Bowman for December.

I'm considering doing an article on the Whammy IIc. It's being held up because, well... I'm slightly concerned about the last article I wrote (not posted) not being up to par... and also worried they might drop a new variant soonish...

Ones I've already written or are on the definite to-do list are the three Hollanders, twin Enforcers, the three (or four) Riflemen, the Thor II, the Incubus II and the two Vultures not already covered (I think I saw an article for the original in the directory). My ADHD/Asperger's has put in a call for me to do a set of II's and III's back-to-back... Can be... annoying at times. (So to be clear, that means one II of each weight class, followed by a III of each in the next pass.)

Sorry... Not sure exactly what a Kingfisher is (as in what the 'Mech is named for), but felt that Halloween needed something out of a MechWarrior's nightmares...

It is a species of bird.

For some reason, the Mech is not one I ever remember.  I have that trouble with a decent chunk of TRO 3058.
I'm not sure how long you've been around on the forums, though you have a thousand posts. Never take anything JKlantern says seriously unless it's about food.
